Danielle O.

Danielle O'Brien, Veterinary Technician

Danielle grew up with animals her whole life and has always loved them. She enjoys being able to heal dogs and cats and improve their lives. She has completed two of Mark Opperman’s “It’s What’s Upfront That Counts” seminars that cover topics for veterinary professionals to help them grow in their clinic.

Danielle is married to her husband, Mike, of 16 years and together they have a 15-year-old son, Gavin. She also considers herself a ‘mother of cats!’ In her spare time, she enjoys playing Pokémon Go, walking, feeding stray cats, cooking and baking, and watching Marvel movies.

Adena P.

Adena Paroly, Veterinary Assistant

Adena is a veterinary assistant who finds her position very rewarding. She enjoys the opportunity to save cats and dogs through her work and finds assisting our team with surgery and births particularly rewarding. She’s also very proud to have her Physical Therapist Assistant License!

At home, Adena has four pets including Shadow, a Standard Poodle; Chloe, a Miniature Poodle; Lily, a Domestic Shorthair; and Skye, a Lynx Point Siamese.

Jenn A.

Jennifer Avila, Veterinary Assistant

Ever since Jennifer was young, she dreamed about being a veterinarian. After a career as a general manager for ten years, she knew it was time to make her dream a reality. She is currently finishing her Bachelor of Science in biological sciences at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton and is planning to enroll in a DVM program within the next 2 years. Jennifer has always had a passion for wildlife, so she will potentially specialize in exotics. So far in her veterinary career, the most rewarding part has been seeing Dr. Levy save patients and learning from him as a teacher, doctor, and friend.

Jennifer has 5 fur children, all cats, named Jacob, Shiloh, Orianna, Jack, and Scrappy. When she is not at work or school, Jennifer volunteers at the South Florida Wildlife Center. She really enjoys learning about all the wild animal species that are native to Florida, and her favorite part is seeing them come through rehabilitation successfully to being released. Jennifer’s greatest guilty pleasures include Game of Thrones and French fries. She’d eat them every day if she could!
